About the Peptide

MT-2, also known as Melanotan II, is a synthetic cyclic analog of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). It is a cyclic heptapeptide, Ac-Nle-cyclo[Asp-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys]-NH2. A lactam bridge joins the Asp and Lys side chains.
