Glutathione
Glutathione is a tripeptide composed of glutamate, cysteine, and glycine, supplied in lyophilized form as a laboratory research material. Lot-specific identity and content documentation is available through the Certificate of Analysis.
A cysteine-containing tripeptide.
Glutathione is the tripeptide gamma-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinylglycine. It is built from glutamate, cysteine, and glycine. The glutamate is joined to cysteine through its side-chain (gamma) carboxyl group, not the usual alpha carboxyl group.
The cysteine residue carries a thiol group. NextSelf Labs supplies Glutathione as a laboratory research material in lyophilized form. Lot-specific analytical documentation is available through the Certificate of Analysis.
